 Elvin's 31st Birthday

I’m not sure if I should say it’s a good or bad day for us. I wanted to bring Dear Dear to Awon Korean BBQ Steamboat at Penisula Plaza for dinner, coz’ I know that he’s fond of the beef & bbq style there. However, the restaurant was closed, not for the day but for business. He was awfully disappointed & ultimately settled for dinner at Sizzler in Suntec City. For a 5 minute stay in that building, we incurred a $3.21 of carpark fee. Dear was rather upset about it. However, we enjoyed our dinner as much as the below snapshots have shown...
Dylan enjoying his soup & spaghetti Dylan posing for his ham... Me enjoying my green salad Dear enjoying his spaghetti too... After the dinner at Sizzler, we proceeded to Meritus Mandarin in Orchard for a drink & our cake-cutting. Why Meritus Mandarin is because they have a band on their 2nd storey lounge with good environment & reasonable pricings. To our disappointment once again, Meritus Mandarin is under renovation & we gotta change for another plan. So, we walked back to our car in Cineleisure Carpark. In there, we incurred a $5.35 of carpark fee for that 10 minutes walk to & fro. Once more, Dear was upset over the plans for today. Likewise, I was feeling rather down for the jeopardy in plans we encountered from the very beginning. I suggested driving back to Marina, as there are more hotels more option in that area. We parked our car at One Fullerton & headed for the lobby lounge in Fullerton Hotel. We took our seats & asked for the beverage menu. While I was taking out my cake for preparation, the waitress mentioned that they do not allow outside food in their lounge. I’m going crazy by now! We had no choice but to pack & leave for another option. It has passed 12am already & we are still wandering on the streets looking for a suitable place for us to settle down. Finally, we ended up in IndoChines along Singapore River. The waiter brought us to our seats & when I am about to take my cake out, another waiter alerted us that no kids are allowed. I was pissed & just grabbed a table outside the bar area, near the restaurant, which is closed. Dylan was frustrated as he gotta leave his comfortable sofa seat. We took like 10 minutes to alert a waiter to help us with our order. Dear was utterly fed-up & when we are about to take our leave, the waiter then came asking for our order. We ordered & continued our celebration without fail. Although, it was a night of “ding-dong”, a night of “hu-ha”… We started to have some fun after our drinks arrived & all thanks to our little darling – Dylan. Some snapshots to tell you how we had our fun?!
Dear's Tiramisu birthday cake from Bakerzia Posing for his birthday cake The 3 of us making funny faces! A decent family photo Dylan blowing his Daddy's birthday candles Dylan giving his Daddy a SWEET birthday kiss Dylan wants to have a taste of my Shirley Temple... Dear & Me posing with our drinks with Dylan as the photographer Daddy & Son having fun with their drinks... Dylan is up to some mischief... Wonder if you can see what's he's trying to do?!Labels: Birthday, Elvin

…slave to KING Elvin, PRINCE Dylan & PRINCESS Dyllis
The girl's name Rachel \r(a)-chel is pronounced as RAY-chel. It is of Hebrew origin, & its meaning is "ewe, innocent lamb".
But after living in this realistic & political world, guess I could never be an innocent lamb anymore... protecting my loved ones at all cost & not conspiracing on others is my basis of life!
