 Mickey Mouse Room  Monday, January 12, 2009
Dylan's junior bedroom set from Nova came in on last Sat... This set comprises of a bed, side table, study table & wardrobe... It cost me $499 for the entire set & many commented that its a bargain! After arranging his furniture & all the hectic cleaning... Dear Dear & I started to decorate his room... With all the mickey mouse stuffs that Monique has bought & x'mas presents Dylan has received... Not forgetting the countless nights that I have spent fixing the puzzles...
Dylan came back from grandma's house last night & was very excited & anxious to take a look of his new bedroom... He used his both hands to cover his eyes... hehe =P like a surprise I guess! He then slowly peeped & smiled at the 1st sight of his bedroom... I gave him a little intro & show him around his room... Tell him where his things are, for instance his toys, his clothes, his books etc! Then I asked him if he likes his bedroom... Without hesitation he replied "yes"! But guess what?! My this boy hor?! He told me everything is nice except the smell of the room is not nice! :lol: Guess he's just not used to the smell of new furniture! Then when I asked if he's happy or not... Once again without hesitation, he replied "yes"! But guess what again?! He told me it would be perfect if I could buy him a small TV on his wall just infront of his bed! "So that I can watch cd on my bed in my room!" Aiyo... a small boy like him?! I told him I will get it for him but not now, will see if he's a good boy or not to deserve a TV in his room... Bed spread w/ Mickey Mouse bedsheet  Saw the puzzle above his bed?! I bought it from Jigsaw Puzzle World... The puzzle & frame cost me nearly 80 bucks! Elvin scolded me for wasting $ this way... That puzzle was a present from us to Dylan for x'mas... Told Dear Dear don't so stingy la! Haha :lol: Bedsheet & quilt cover sets sponsored by Monique & Bro... The Donald Duck on the left also given to Dylan by Monique... Think she won it at the Game Room @ Suntec City the last time she came back with bro... The Mickey Mouse on the right is given by Xavier for x'mas... Not forgetting to mention Dylan's 3 god-sisters... They gave him the Mickey Mouse little bolster jz infront of his pillow for x'mas...
Carpet  The carpet is once again sponsored by his pretty Kim-kim & "Dua-gu"... I think its acryllic carpet... Nice right?!
Wardrobe  That's Dylan's wardrobe! His towel & uniform hanging on the door hook creating an ugly picture... Hehe =P His air hockey game set sitting beside the wardrobe w/ his art table underneath... The puzzle above the air hockey game is a gift from don't know who for don't know what occassion to Dylan... Found it in the storeroom & so I decided to fix it & hang it there to beautify the wall a little... It's a puzzle from Mini Toons! Quality really lousy as compared to the one that I bought from Jigsaw Puzzle World... Of coz' la... 一分钱一份货! What do I expect?!
Side Table  There's an alarm & table lamp on his side table w/ 3 chest of drawers! Likewise the alarm clock & table lamp are sponsored by Dylan's pretty Kim-kim & Dua-gu! The table lamp is very interesting... All you have to do is to touch the blue base of the lamp & it will lit immediately... The 1st touch is a very dim light... 2nd touch became slightly brighter, just right when Dylan is sleeping... The 3rd touch is really bright, which is suitable for reading... & finally the last touch the light is gone! There's a aromatheraphy burner too! It belongs to me... Hehe =P coz' Dylan complained that the smell in the room is not nice... Coz' of the new furniture smell... Have been airing the room but still the smell is there! So I burned some Eucaplytus oil for him so that he can sleep better!
Study Table  That's Dylan's study table... a very simple one... w/ his drum set, lego & violin under the table...
Shelf  That's a 9-grid shelf! Bought it separately from Giant IMM... It cost me only $45.90! What a deal?! Dear Dear fixed it up himself & got his hands all red due to the screwing & tightening of planks... The 3 red Mickey Mouse boxes are all Dylan's toys... Of coz' they are not big enough to contain all of his toys... The other 2 yellow boxes are storage of his stationery... new & old ones! & all his soft toys collections on the top 3 columns! With his story books all sitting in the next column! The puzzle above the shelf from Mini Toons too! Dylan chose the design himself... He loves the amusement park background with the big ferris wheel!
Toys Container  Bought this from Jurong Point too... @ $19.90... Just becoz' it is mickey mouse clubhouse... came in quite handy as I could store all his balls, swords, rifles, guns, sports bats etc...
Curtains  Yeah! That's a Mickey & Minnie curtain holder! Monique bought this from Hong Kong! Oh not forgetting the set of cafe curtains that cost me $34 from Clementi central... With some wall stickers to below the windows... Also bought by Monique & bro...
 Saw the wall stickers?! They can glow in the night... Really beautiful... Will take a night snapshot & post it up here so that you guys can see the effect! The mickey mouse hanging on the aircon is given by his 3 god-sisters for x'mas too! It has Dylan's name too!Labels: Dylan, Mickey Mouse
