 Gathering with Idobaby Mummies
Saturday, May 9, 2009
Had a wonderful lunch out with some mummies from the IdoBaby forum... We gathered at Fig & Olive Restaurant in Vivo City... Met Jolene & her 4-yr old daughter, Jamie 1st... They were there very early as she got to rush off for a talk at 1.30pm. I arrived at 1pm & managed to catch some small talks with her. It's very nice of her to give me the article on different methods of comfort for babies.. Before she left, another mummy Lina, with a 15-mth old boy, Jaren came... she's a wholesaler for frames & always on the run for bazaars at schools like SMU, NTU etc... she's really amazing because her son follows her wherever she goes... I guess she must have appreciated the MIM sling sarong very much! =P
Winnie came later with her 11-month old son, Eldrick! He's really a big boy compared to his peers... he's so cute... wanting me to carry him... hehe =P out from the baby chair of coz! Linda came with her 2-month old daughter Rislin... Guess what?! Linda is only 19 yrs old & she's a mother of 1 already! Rislin is pretty cooperative that day... sleeping peacefully in her pramp after being breastfed... unlike my Dyllis who is so cranky... got to carry her & walk around, poor Rini *haha that's my maid*! Coz' I'm too busy entertaining Dylan & catching up with all the mummies... Last came was Linda... oops.. another Linda.. with her 18-month old son Ravel! I met her in Jurong Point the last time already. We had Starbucks back then! Ravel was munching on a muphin & we had coffee... She's really nice & helpful... gave me lotsa support during my 1st month of breastfeeding... thou its just sms-es of advices & info, it certainly helped me to overcome all my uncertainties & doubts... A big thank you to Linda!
Although many other mummies did not turn up but I'm sure they will the next time round! Hope to see you guys then! Will post our group picture when I received it from Winnie... *oops* forgot to thank Winnie for her camera & the effort in uploading in her computer & email out to us!Labels: Gathering, IdoMummy

♥ Me, Myself & I ♥
…slave to KING Elvin, PRINCE Dylan & PRINCESS Dyllis
The girl's name Rachel \r(a)-chel is pronounced as RAY-chel. It is of Hebrew origin, & its meaning is "ewe, innocent lamb".
But after living in this realistic & political world, guess I could never be an innocent lamb anymore... protecting my loved ones at all cost & not conspiracing on others is my basis of life!
