 1st Semi Solid Experience  Thursday, July 23, 2009
Dyllis has turned 4 months old on Monday.. which means I'm able to start her on semi-solids.. Hurray!!! Wondering how the experience will be like?! I got her brown rice for a start.. & mixed it with breastmilk so that the taste is not so "err-hem".. She didn't reject it & I personally feel that she quite like it!
I have a non-slip purple Barney bowl in my storeroom.. bought it for Dylan many yrs back but didn't use at all.. Went to Kiddy Palace to get a soft tip feeding spoon for her.. its pinkish red but the spoon will turn yellow if the food is hot.. it has this heat sensor function! When we took out the spoon & washed it with hot water that day.. Rini had a big shock when it turned yellow.. she was expecting a scolding from me.. However.. I laughed & told her about the heat sensor thing & she felt so relieved! Can see that "phewww" look on her face?! She said :"So nice hor?! Wow.. very nice le!" Some photos of Dyllis "cat face"! =P
  After her food.. we put her on the playchair for soother digestion.. & gave her 1oz of water to wet her throat.. I taught her how to hold the bottle on her own & she's doing really fantastic! Besides drinking.. she is also biting the nipple too! Poor bottle! Anyway.. she finished her water in no seconds.. Some pics of evidence! Haha :lol:
