 Family Day @ Qian Hu Fish Farm  Tuesday, July 7, 2009
There was a holiday yesterday due to the Youth Day parade on last Friday.. Zihui was so kind to ask us to join them for their family day.. since both her kids do not need to attend school.. she took leave & so coincidentally that Yaming is on 1/2 day re-service.. Hence, I asked Dear Dear to apply 2nd 1/2day leave too!
Initially we wanted to go to Lower Pier Reservoir to catch baby lobsters.. but the weather wasn't cooperative.. hence we changed plans to Qian Hu Fish Farm instead.. We paid $10 for an hour of fish catching activity.. wasn't too bad afterall! The kids had great fun & the daddys are really participative in the activity too! Photos are evidence man! *giggling*
After the fish catching, we took a break at the cafe! The kids were all famished.. & great mummies like us have it all prepared! Zihui bought hotdog bread & I made ham & cheese sandwich for the kids.. After the break.. we went around to see the different kinds of fishes! That's all in Qian Hu & the time is still rather early for dinner, therefore we headed for Lot 1 in CCK for playground.. Just for kids! Poor parents like us can only sit & see them in enjoyment! Anyway.. its all meant for the kids! Afterwhich, we had dinner at a "zi cha" stall at some where along old CCK road.. I quite like the food there becoz' its nice & cheap! I love the BBQ chix wings too! But too bad it was closed yesterday.. then learnt from some aunty that they closed on every Monday! *drooling*
