Seafood Dinner in Malaysia
Saturday, October 24, 2009

Went into Malaysia on last Sunday for groceries shopping @ Jusco w/ Yaming & Mavis... Wanted to bring Dylan along but he preferred to go jogging with his "gong-gong"... When we reached JB.. the 1st thing we did was to send our car for wash.. then we walked over to a nearby coffeeshop to take our lunch.. We ate claypot rice, pig trotters & vegetable soup.. It comes in a set & it cost us only RM19.00 for 2 pax serving.. I personally felt that it's really a deal! The both of us were famished, don't know if that makes it all the more tastier?! *yum yum*

After our lunch.. we proceeded to the opposite street for CDs.. the shop that we always patronised! The chinese movie - Turning Point is finally clear.. so I bought that & another new chinese movie casted by Aaron Kwok (more for my Dad to watch)! Went out to make payment then saw Raymond Lam's concert on TV.. so I got that for myself too! Afterwhich, we popped to the medical hall just beside.. bought a pkt of diapers for Dyllis, a tin of EnfaMama for myself.. & some other daily necessities! Spent RM133.50 in there! I waited at the shop while Dear Dear went to pick up his car then we set off for Jusco to meet Yaming & Mavis! We met them at Breadtalk & they were already done with their groceries shopping.. so they left for the medical hall that we just went & we shopped at Jusco that they just finished! Don't make sense right?! We were all in JB but we did our individual shopping on our own & we met up like not even 5 minutes! Haha =P But we set a timing to wait at the petrol kiosk before we headed up for seafood dinner. That's basically the only time that we were together!

Photos of our seafood dinner...

Senibong Village Seafood It's open concept! Also w/ seaview Live Seafood on display The bamboo thing.. forgot what its called?! RM16 per bamboo Slipper Lobsters/Oats - RM35.20 Slipper Lobsters/Chilli - RM33.00 Steamed live prawns - RM27.00 An overview of our food

We also ordered other dishes like sambal kang kong, onion & ginger ostrich, sweet & sour fish fillet & a plate of hokkien mee.. Our total bill came up to be RM214.20.. If u ask me if its cheap.. I wouldn't say its cheap nor it is expensive! It's relatively the price of eating in Singapore.. so it's not worth going there to eat anyway! But I must strongly recommend the steamed live prawns.. it's indeed big & fresh! The price is at the lower side.. The bamboo is slightly more expensive.. the crayfish le?! That's a disappointment - so small! =( The onion & ginger ostrich is a no-no! Ostrich meat is supposed to be very soft & tender.. but it came out to be very tough! All in all.. I would say this would be my first & last visit!
