Went to Ishi Muro at Safra Jurong last Saturday.. Joan Aunty is the one who brought us there! Although I'm the one staying in Jurong West.. I don't know that there's this Japanese Foodstreet in Safra Jurong.. She's staying all the way in Ang Mo Kio & yet she knows what's happening in Safra Jurong! *blush*

Anyway.. a brief description of Ishi Muro.. Its more or less like a foodcourt that serves only japanese food.. Hhmm.. I should put it in this way.. There's a wide variety of food.. from western to italian.. however they are all done in japanese style! Yum yum *drooling* The prices are rather reasonable.. from $5.90 per portion to anything more than $10.. there's also sushi-on-conveyor belt style.. Sashimi to be fresh all kept in the refridegerator.. Everything there is self-service then make payment at the respective cashiers.. So much for the pricing.. the food is as tasty as what we can find in restaurant.. the standard wasn't at all discounted though the price is relatively at the cheaper end.. but of coz.. there's no waiters/waitresses serving you.. no tables for reservation.. its free seating.. on a first-come-first-serve basis.. but I want to compliment the dish keepers.. they are really efficient & friendly.. unlike those that you meet at hawker centres.. If you are staying in Jurong area.. do drop by Ishi Muro Japanese Foodstreet.. even if you are staying far.. its worth your trip all the way down! =)
