BBQ @ East Coast Park / West Coast Park

Boss Chua & Mavis suggested a mini-BBQ at East Coast Park 3 weeks ago.. But due to some reasons the outing was delayed! We finally did as we planned & brought the kids to East Coast Park for last Sunday!

We went marketing in the early morning.. I prepared the food.. while Mavis got her in-law to fry us bee hoon.. We set off at around 4.30pm from Jurong West.. arrived at East Coast Park slightly after 5pm.. spent some time finding a place & settled down with our barang barang.. Dylan, Darren & Chloe went playing football.. while Dyllis had her tricycle ride! We the mummies were busy watching the kids & packing the stuffs.. the daddies starting up the pit! When the pit is all ready.. we started barbequeing & the daddies go rent themselves a bicycle each.. Everything went on smoothly.. untill we saw some people in yellow polo-tee in a buggy car driving towards us.. I ignored as I thought they were heading for something else.. But no lor! They were heading for us.. We are not allowed to bbq on free will without booking their pits.. We are asked to extinguish the fire.. however they are still quite "nice" la! I ask if we could finish up with these half-cooked food before we extinguish the fire & they compromised! They stood by watching us while we finish bbq-ing the half-cooked food.. then we extinguished the fire right before their eyes! Mavis' heart ached! Why?? All bcoz' we only just started! =( The fire just started to fume.. we just started to smell the food.. the "kick" just started.. the fun just started! & most importantly is bcoz' we dumped in plenty of charcoal!

We had to just make do with it! Finish up the food that we just cooked.. packed our stuffs.. & loaded them all back in our cars.. As the daddies had rented the bicycle for 2hours.. time's not up yet.. hence they brought the boys for a ride. Dyllis in pramp ride & Chloe in Dylli's tricycle ride.. Haha =P BUTTT.. we didn't give up! We went on to West Coast Park after the bicycle rental is up.. Hehe =P The fun & "kick" all came back! We found an unused pit.. placed our pit on it & the real thing for the night begun!
