Our X'mas & New Year Holidays

This is the 1st time Dyllis celebrated X'mas & New Year.. hence I want it to be a memorable one! We had an eventful X'mas & New Year.. both Dylan & Dyllis enjoyed themselves very much! Why I say so?! Let me elaborate... ... ...

For X'mas alone we spent 3 whole days on it.. We brought them to Orchard Road once again, to see lightings & phototaking on the 23rd.. but most importantly.. I bought a light stick for Dylan.. though its nothing big nor expensive.. but he has been searching for it high & low.. so I guess I at least fulfilled his wish! The thing that made me felt lost for words is that Dear Dear took leave to spend X'mas with the kids! For the 1st time he INITIATED! Haha =P rather ridiculous right?! But it's no other than the truth!

Then we went to Aunty Tuya's place for swimming on the eve.. Guess where's her condo?!?! Its Marina Bay Tower!!! O_O Located at the heart of S'pore's CBD! Let me tell you.. this condo is unlike other condos.. Its very commercialised.. & it has the style of a hotel.. just that its simplified version! They have bellboys (security) to open the doors of your cars/taxis.. also open doors for you at the lobby.. Then when you walk in.. you will see a lady formally dressed sitting at the conceirge.. You need to scan your card in order to take the lift.. Don't you only find all these in a hotel?!?! But to me le?! When I enter the condo.. take the lift up.. walk along the corridor.. I don't have any homely feel! Its so "cold" & quiet! So if you ask me.. I will not stay there.. If I have the chance to own a property like this.. I will simply just rent it out to expartriates & make profit out of it! Hehe =P Machiam machiam hor?! Like as if I can afford to buy a condo like this!! Anyway the pool area is fantastic.. they have so many facilities! The Spa room is like.. woo woo O_0!!! I didn't have the chance to use it coz' my stupid hubby la.. doesn't allow me to put on my new monokini.. so I didn't swim.. & so I didn't have a chance to use the Spa facilities! =( I went in becoz' I was bathing Dyllis.. so I explored awhile & I promised I will be back there to use those facilities.. will post photos up here to entice u the next time round! Haha :lol:

Here comes X'mas Day... We had a party!!! At where?? In my house!!! We did it the pot luck style.. so easier for me mah?!?! *chuckles* Get Uncle Simon, our house chef, to fry bee hoon & cook curry chicken! To my surprise.. he did more than what was told! He fry additional noodles & made his signature dish - rendang mutton! *drooling* Aunty Jen bought soft drinks & ordered pizzas.. My mum contributed a log cake from Sweet Secrets.. Aunty Veron brought bbq pork ribs.. & Priscillia is so nice.. her boyfriend bought 1 whole roast duck.. Mavis got her in-law to prepare chicken wings.. As for myself.. I contributed fishballs, cheese sausages & teriyaki chicken steak! What a splendid!! I was only expecting a simple party.. just-for-the-kids.. but ended up a fruitful & bountiful one! Cheers man! =) But so sad is that I forgot to take photos of our party.. Sigh.. coz' I'm too busy with running in & out.. I'm the host mah.. so there's alot of stuffs that I need to do.. & also.. becoz' I'm still breastfeeding.. so I need to feed Dyllis etc.. Anyway the memories are inside our hearts.. that's priceless! By'd way here's wishing everyone a merry starry x'mas!

Yeah.. its finally New Year Eve! Gona say goodbye to 2009 & welcome 2010! =) Becoz' Dear Dear is working.. & what a company?! He doesn't has half-day.. so its a full day work.. as usual we went back to mother's house for dinner! Our plans for the day is to watch fireworks.. So after dinner.. we rested for awhile.. had some fruits.. fed Dyllis milk.. & we left at around 9.30pm from mother's house & headed for Marina Barrage.. To my surprise is that the traffic was very smooth.. there wasn't any jam.. & guess becoz' we are considered early.. the road wasn't blocked nor closed too! Hehe =P We successfully parked our vehicle at the big carpark behind the old Superbowl.. walked less than 5mins & we arrived at Marina Barrage.. Uncle Nelson, Aunty Joan, Juliana & Popo joined us for the fireworks too.. Oh.. not forgetting Mavis & her 2 kids! They were abit late so they parked their car at Marina Pier then walked for about 30mins.. Dear Dear took a video of the fireworks.. however the fireworks lasted for almost 8mins so I can't upload it here coz the file is too big! So just some photos to quench your thirst! Hehe =P Anyway, to end off.. I wish all a happy happy new year! May all the good things be with you throughout the year.. GOOD health.. GOOD wealth.. GOOD luck! Cheers =)
