A Exhausting but Fulfilling Week

Brother & 大嫂 came back to Singapore from Hong Kong last Tues night.. This time round.. they brought along her brother & sister-in-law.. a friend of theirs & his girlfriend.. Ester & Peter came back as well.. so there were like 4 pairs! Very crowded & noisy this time round..

The entire house in West Coast was left solely for all of them.. while Mummy & Daddy put up in my place... We went to the airport on Tues night to pick them.. their flight arrive at slightly before 12am.. After all the ding dong.. we set off to buy them a meal of Bak Kut Teh.. My hubby is the host of the night! The bill came up to be like $220.. His eyes were like this O_O when he made the payment at the cashier.. Wahaha =P.. Never mind la.. once a year affair right Dear?! Hehe..

The next day we were all at work.. so they went to Orchard & Bugis for shopping on their own.. We met them for dinner & brought them to have a taste of Singapore's coffeeshop.. we ordered grilled stingray, sotong, bbq prawns.. chilli kang kong.. bbq chicken wings etc etc.. Food that Hong Kong does not have! They dropped by our place for a visit after the dinner.. Then on Thurs they headed for Bintan Resort & back on Fri.. Elvin could not take leave so we didn't join them..

Aunty Jen prepared a sumptous dinner for all of them on Fri evening.. Food like sweet & sour pork.. cereal prawns.. curry fish head.. Yum yum.. nice & splendid! We went to a Pub in Pasir Panjang later that night.. It was a crazy night! Can you imagine we drank like 8 barrels of beer! I mean BARRELS.. not jugs my dear! Many were "high" & some were drunk! Who? Think I do not have to mention.. coz' its always that few "regulars"! Haha =)

As usual.. Dylan has classes on Saturday.. so I didn't join them during the day.. & they went visiting Popo & Mama.. Afterwhich, they wanted to try Hainanese Chicken Rice.. & so we brought them to Bt Timah for dinner.. Aunty Doris picked the tab! Not cheap as well le?! The bill came up to $170! at night supposedly to join them at Zouk.. I were like all dressed up for it.. out of my house.. on the road already.. but u-turned & proceeded back home when we were 10 minutes on the road.. Haizz.. what a spoilsport & disappointment?! Why? Long story la! Anyway I knew they had fun & I guess that's more important!

Then on Sunday.. due to the late zouk-out on the previous night.. & I guess the drunkards were really drunk.. they woke up so so late.. & by'd time they are awake.. it's almost evening.. We brought them to Newton Hawker Centre.. A variety of food.. From satay.. to fried carrot cake.. to bbq stuffs.. etc etc.. Guess up till now.. I seem to only be joining them for dinners! Haha =P Yes.. I'm a eater! A BIG eater! Then on Monday coz' I have a meeting.. once again.. I didn't join them for their Sentosa trip! Some went to Universal Studio & some preferred the beach.. They went to Vivo City & Plaza Singapura for a last minute shopping after Sentosa.. & after I settled my 2 kids to bed.. I went over to mum's place.. We ate.. chatted.. played games throughout the night.. till their cabs arrived at 4.30am.. & off we sent them into the cabs!

Brother was rather emotional.. Haizz.. If u ask me.. Me too also 有一点不舍得! But what to do?! That's life! "Buck up brother.. another 2 years.. when everything has settled down.. I believe 大嫂 will agree to come back to Singapore with you!" All I can say is take care & I really miss them!

This set of Hello Kitty untensils is really not cheap le! It cost her more than a hundred bucks! When I saw it.. I was like.. "woo.. aiyo.. so ex you oso buy ah?!" Haha =P

So all in all.. Dyllis is the biggest beneficiary! She received a lot of presents from Hong Kong! Haha =P Dylan had a pen from Universal Studio from 大嫂's brother! He's a little envy with his 妹妹's 收获! Hope to see you all again very soon!
